Deep Massage
Course Details
Every quality massage method that uses oil is based on the flowing conscious contact with the body. Deep Tissue Bodywork adds the ability to change in-depth somatic body patterns by affecting the connective tissue (fascia) of the muscles.
In this seminar participants will be taught how the collaboration of these two areas of bodywork can be effortlessly integrated. Demonstrations of advanced deep massage techniques, which can easily be integrated with any other massage styles already known by the practitioner, will be shown. Another focus in this course will be upon the inner-connectedness of the four-body-state that exists in every individual person. These collective planes are the physical, emotional, mind and spiritual.
The exploration of these body mechanisms and of ways in which to work comfortably and sensitively on deeper levels will be explored, resulting in a deeper understanding of the body. The use of active and passive movements of the body will also be practiced to help increase the effectiveness of a session.
