Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology
Course Details
150 Stunden Schulmedizinische Basisausbildung in Anatomie, Physiologie und Pathologie
These interesting and practice-orientated courses in anatomy aim at improving the quality and effectiveness of massage through touch. Knowledge of the anatomical functions of the body increases the practitioners’ confidence at work, regardless of the specific type of massage. Through a new understanding of the body they gain self-confidence and are able to strengthen the relationship with their clients. The clients in turn experience themselves more thoroughly through the hands of the masseur; they will acquire more trust and better access to their inner equilibrium.
Slides, anatomical tables and other visual aids will be used to illustrate the various body worlds on the two-dimensional level. The active part of the course involves using our sensitive hands to feel, locate and name bones, muscles and tendons on our own bodies and in small groups.
These lessons will convey basic knowledge in a lively and profound way and are open to anyone interested in the "human form".
