The Classical Massage Training
Course Details
Now in addition to the Esalen Massage basic training we offer the training in classical massage. Because more health insurances recognize Classical Massage than Esalen massage we'd like to offer to our students the possibility to receive this recognition.
In classical massage pressure and kneading is applied to muscle tissues. Thereby one achieves, on the one hand, a direct physical effect, because the tense musculature is stretched and relaxed. On the other hand the massage can also positively influence physical functions like heartbeat, blood pressure or digestion. All elements of the classical massage (gentile, effect strokes, kneading, friction and muscle palpilations are also done in the slow, careful and deliberate way and are integrated in a style of Esalen massage. Participants in this advanced training will have the possibility to select different massage themes from various advanced training moduls. In every course these elements of the classical massage are introduced and brought under this special aspect.
The hours can be credited to the advanced Esalen massage certificate. There is no given time frame to graduate from the courses. According to the guidelines of the EMR the participant must be tested in this method.
