The Esalen Massage Teachers Training 2010 - 2012
This teacher training is an answer to the many students who have asked “how can I become an Esalen Massage teacher”. I have thought long and hard about how to do this, while at the same time, maintain the high standard of teaching we have been offering for over 23 years. I believe what is written in this letter will guarantee this.
I have also been asked, over the years about “why Esalen massage is not known more in the general population?” In my opinion, the best answer to this question is to have more teachers, who go out into the world and spread the “work” we do. This will effect not only people’s awareness of our work, it will also have an impact on conventional institutions, such as insurance companies and government agencies, in giving more legitimate recognition of what Esalen massage is and can do. With these things in mind, graduates should be prepared to take the teaching knowledge they receive and bring it to other cities in Switzerland, as well as, other countries in Europe.
The abundant tools learned during the training will prepare graduates for any eventuality they will experience in courses they teach and will also help enhance their own personal development. The training is open to all Esalen Massage Practitioners with a minimal of 200 hours of documented schooling, no matter where they completed their ground training.
The group size will be kept to a maximal of 14 participants
